About Us

Reclaim Timber is a mobile sawmilling, timber salvage, and firewood service. We specialize in the repurposing of fallen trees, turning them into custom lumber and premium wood products with a story. We pride ourselves on our sustainable harvesting practices, our commitment to reducing wood waste, and the deep-rooted connections we’re fostering between people and the land. We offer complimentary timber salvage assessments and evaluations and use a portable high-performance hydraulic sawmill for fast, precise custom milling. We also offer hydraulic firewood processing and delivery services for salvage timber better utilized as fuelwood.

Founded in 2022, Reclaim Timber is an Indigenous-owned business based in Larder Lake, Ontario, Canada, locally owned and operated by Haley Laronde and Tyler Snow. Haley is the Owner and Operations and Marketing Manager; she grew up in Temagami, Ontario, and is a member of Nipissing First Nation and the Teme-Augama Anishnabai. She founded Reclaim Timber with the goal of reducing waste and repurposing storm-fallen trees. Tyler is Reclaim Timber’s main sawmill sawyer, operator, and Timber Specialist. He grew up in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, and has extensive experience with heavy equipment operation and metal fabrication. Haley and Tyler are both avid outdoor enthusiasts and enjoy spending time in nature with their dog, Ruby.

What next? We are currently researching sustainable methods to optimize our processes and expand to repurpose wood offcuts and byproducts produced from our operations. This is another way we can model our commitment to sustainable practices and waste reduction while maximizing the potential use of local timber resources.
